INTERNET ARRIVES
It took a long time but we now have full internet facilities at Chez Russell. In the summer we had a WiMax aerial installed on the roof to pick up a radio channel from an aerial in Vibrac supplied by Alsatis, equipment supplied free by the Conseil General, Charente Maritime. This provided an ethernet line at speeds up to 10Mbit/s unlimited download in the dining room.
We have now connected this to a Netgear wireless router which works well throughout the house providing Wma encrypted wifi.
